The twin brothers and other manuscript poems; London, 1843.

Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of primarily sentimental poetry, consisting of a long narrative poem and 24 shorter poems. The volume is divided into 20 weekly installments; the long poem titled The twin brothers is presented in 14 installments and is prefaced by an explanation of its genesis as an effort to win a prize given by a literary society of which the author was a member. The poem is followed by a dedication of the remaining 34 poems to Miss Eliza Cozens, now the author's wife. They address such subjects as memory, farewells, friendship, and family love; there are also a few light verses, Numerous contemporary engravings illustrate the text.
